Robert Downey Jr. Visits Children’s Hospital Before Captain America: Civil War Premiere

Not only is Robert Downey Jr. a hero in Captain America: Civil War, the 51-year-old actor is also one in real life.

According to People, Downey Jr. went over to the Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) in London on Tuesday to visit young Marvel fans ahead of Civil War's European premiere.

Among the young Iron Man fans that the actor met is 7-year-old Ethan Miller who is suffering from a rare blood disease called ITP as well as type 1 diabetes. Ethan welcomed Downey Jr. while dressed as Iron Man and the young fan looked elated posing with the actor for pictures.

Back in October, Downey dressed up as Tigger and gave a special message on Instagram to Daniel Keyte, a child suffering from cystic fibrosis. The actor delivered the message after Daniel's mom wrote to Downey about her son.

In his message, Downey also offered Daniel a special offer to attend the premiere of Captain America: Civil War as his guest.

It's so cool of Downey to go out of his way to make these young fans happy.

He has yet again proven that it doesn't take superpowers to give hope and make people happy.

Captain American: Civil War hits theaters on May 6.
