Robert Downey Jr. Says Avengers: Infinity War Is Going To Be A Real “Armageddon.”

The Avengers have so much to lose fighting against the Mad Titan Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War.

Director Joe and Anthony Russo have both been candid about the possibility of character death in their two-part Avengers movie and according to Robert Downey J. that Earth's Mightiest Heroes are certainly going to face Armageddon in Infinity War.

"Believe me, I'm tired of every movie, you know, "It's the end! It's Armageddon! It's the Be All, End All, Forever!" And then it's … not," the Marvel star said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. "This one actually is. They're not kidding. This is a heads-will-roll scenario."

Marvel isn't one to kill characters in its films, but the studio's spent so many years building up Infinity War. Thanos is going to be the Earth's biggest threat, and within the first five minutes of the film, Marvel President Kevin Feige says that people will finally understand why the Mad Titan is the "biggest and baddest villain in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe."

The only question now is who exactly is which Avenger is going to become a casualty in the battle against Thanos and the Black Order.

Avengers: Infinity War premieres April 27, 2018.
