Battling Thanos won't be an easy task for the Avengers in Avengers: Infinity War. The Earth's Mightiest Heroes are going to have to give all they've got to keep the Mad Titan from destroying half of the planet, and Avengers directors Joe and Anthony Russo have been pretty candid with the possibility of character death in the film.
Though many hope that fan-favorite characters like Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man makes it out of the film alive, the Marvel star tells NDTV.com that he really doesn't know how Infinity War ends. Speaking with the news outlet during an Infinity War fan event at Singapore, Downey Jr. admits that he himself can't be sure whether Tony Stark will live to fight another day in the two-part Avengers movie.
"Marvel hasn't even told me what the end of this movie is," Downey explained.
The studio has its methods of keeping its film's under the wraps, and one of these methods include keeping their cast ignorant of the full story of their films.
"Some days the actors don't even know what they are shooting, they are told on the set what they will shoot that day," executive Producer Trinh Tran said. "Out of all the Marvel movies, this is one of the biggest kept secret films. We went in being very protective."
Though we're all hoping to know who lives in dies in Infinity War, it's probably best that we simply cross our fingers, and wait and see. We've only got a week till the film premieres.
Avengers: Infinity War hits cinemas April 27.
