Ridley Scott's 'Alien: Covenant' Casts Four More Actors

The sequel to Prometheus, Alien: Covenant, is coming, and it looks like director Ridley Scott is ramping up the casting, following the additions of Danny McBride and Demian Bichir.

According to Deadline, four more actors, including Jussie Smolett (Empire), Amy Seimetz (Upstream Color, Starz's The Girlfriend Experience), Carmen Ejogo (Selma, The Purge: Anarchy), and Callie Hernandez (Machete Kills, La La Land). They'll join Katherine Waterston, who's playing Daniels, who's probably the captain of a ship called Covenant. Michael Fassbender will reprise his role as the android David.

Here's the official synopsis:

Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world -- whose sole inhabitant is the "synthetic" David (Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.

Most of these actors will probably just be fodder for the xenomorphs since Scott revealed that every version of the alien will appear in the film.

Alien: Covenant is set to release in theaters on Oct. 6, 2017.
