Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City Clip Finds Claire in Big Trouble

We're only a week away from the premiere of Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City and we're getting more footage from the upcoming live-action adaptation of the Capcom games. A new clip from the film features Claire Redfield investigating a house and finding an "itchy tasty" kind of big trouble.

The clip was shared by the official Fandango Twitter account to announce that tickets are now for sale. In the clip, Claire goes into a house where she encounters a creepy woman outside a glass window who scratches the words "itchy tasty" in blood. It only takes a few seconds to reveal what that means.

Disturbed, Claire turns away to find a young girl hiding under a table. "You need help?" Claire asks her. "You need help," the child responds just as the creepy woman crashes through the glass and pins Claire down.

It's only a brief clip but it certainly sets the tone for Welcome to Raccoon City, which will adapt the first and second games of the Resident Evil franchise. The movie already has a creepy vibe and jumpscares so we're looking forward to a lot of zombie action later this month.

Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City takes place in the town that was once the home of Umbrella Corporation but has since turned into a wasteland. It is here that "a small group of survivors must work together to uncover the truth behind Umbrella and make it through the night."

The film stars Kaya Scodelario as Claire Redfield, Hannah John-Kamen as Jill Valentine, Robbie Amell as Chris Redfield, Tom Hopper as Albert Wesker, Avan Jogia as Leon S. Kennedy, Lily Gao as Ada Wong, Donal Logue as Chief Brian Irons, and Neal McDonough as William Birkin. Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City will hit theaters on November 24, 2021.
