Resident Evil 7 Gets 2 More Trailers on Survival & Immortality

Capcom has released two more video snippets featuring some gameplay glimpses for Resident Evil 7 biohazard.

In the first video, we see the increased potency of Green herbs, thanks to a new ingredient. The player in the video has obvious wounds on his left hand. What he does is he goes into a cabinet to add resources to his inventory.

The video shows some ingredients that can be combined to create Green herbs. The First Aid Med will close up the wounds and promote cell regeneration. Using it will also partly restore health. As if by magic, pouring the concoction on the wounded area does the trick and restores the hand to its normal state.

The Immortal video gets a little more action. After all of the videos that featured mostly objects and items being used, here, we finally see something odd happening in the setting. The player is attacked by a man named Jack. And his weapon is no laughing matter—it looks like a cross between a mop and a bed of nails—puts Negan's Lucille to shame, if you ask me.

After the player shoots Jack straight in the heart, we all think he's dead. The gagging sounds and the pool of blood behind his head should have validated that. The protagonist is already bloody from the weapon's hit, which can be seen in the bloodied surroundings of the first-person camera.

And as the player walks away, we hear someone say "Oh no no no…" in the background. The camera turns around, and we see Jack standing up, as though those bullets didn't mean a thing. Oh no, indeed.

Resident Evil 7 biohazard will be out on Jan. 24, 2017.
