Preacher Has Been Renewed For Season Three

AMC has renewed the Seth Rogen-produced Preacher for its third season, to the happiness of many fans. The show has received critical acclaim from fans and critics alike, with many loving how faithful it is to the original Vertigo comics by Garth Ennis and the late Steve Dillon. While the show hasn't always followed the original story, it always kept the tone and themes that these comics had.

To celebrate the news, AMC released a new image that showed the current cast ready for the show's third season, which Seth Rogen later shared. It will be coming next year, so fans won't have to wait too long to see Jesse Custer, Tulip O'Hare, and the vampire Cassidy. Preacher has always been controversial, so fans can expect more of this from the show's third season.

Seth Rogen was also excited for the news, tweeting out the news. Rogen seems to be a big fan of Garth Ennis and his comics since he also plans on producing an adaptation of The Boys. If he can keep the controversial themes of that show, fans will give that show love like they currently do with Preacher.

No official release date was given for the third season of Preacher. All we know is that it will be coming to AMC on 2018.
