Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon Introduces New Game-Changing Ability

Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon keep firing on all cylinders when it comes to new features. While an argument can be made about how these features should have been in the previous versions of the two games, there's no denying that some of these are really interesting. Coro Coro Magazine (via Serebii) has announced a new ability called Z Rotom Power which gives players a huge advantage in battles.

Unlike the last two games where the RotomDex was more of a passive presence, this time it will impact the gameplay of Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon in a big way. After players spend enough time with the machine it will gain access to the Z Rotom Power. This amazingly lets players do two Z Moves in one fight, which is overkill.

Z Moves are the most powerful attacks in the game, dealing massive damage to the opponent or giving the player's Pokemon a huge buff in stats for the fight. First introduced in the vanilla versions of Sun and Moon, it will be interesting to see how this affects tournament play since multiplayer is a huge part of the series.

Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon come to the 3DS on November 17. These are expected to be the last 3DS Pokemon games since plans for a mainline Nintendo Switch game have been revealed.
