Pokemon Sun and Moon Gets Special Target & GameStop Events

Nintendo and Game Freak have announced some new events for Pokemon Sun and Moon.

Over at the official Pokemon website, the developer announced that Nov. 19 is quite the important date to visit Target. From 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., participating Target stores will hold the Pokemon Sun and Moon promo.

What this means is that visitors can get a Pokemon TCG promo with Pikachu and a poster that will have the characters from the Alola region, as pictured below. Target will also have the card game Alola Collection, which will have its own lineup of cards, figures, pins, and more.

"While you're there, be sure to take your picture with the new starter Pokemon of the Alola region. Then share your picture using the hashtag #TeamLitten, #TeamRowlet, or #TeamPopplio to show off your favorite Pokemon."

Technically, Pokemon Sun and Moon should already be available the day before, but if you're already at Target, it's best to pick up the game during the vent itself.

There's also a midnight event slated before the launch day. There will be midnight openings at select GameStop stores to countdown the time until they can play the game. Nintendo has already released the full list of GameStop branches that are participating in the event, as seen via this link.

Pokemon Sun and Moon will be out on Nov. 18 on the Nintendo 3DS.
