Pokemon Go Trainers in Spain, Italy, and Portugal Can Now Officially Join the Craze

As if the craze in select countries isn't enough, three new countries can now officially try and find every possible Pokemon in every nook and cranny of their homes, workplaces, and landmarks.

If you're an aspiring trainer based in Spain, Italy, and Portugal, rejoice! You're can officially download Pokemon Go via the iOS App Store and Google Play Store. The official Twitter for Pokemon Go has confirmed this just today.

I guess this is just to be expected since the first launch in Germany marked the game's entry into European territory.

Previously, Pokemon Go was only available in Australia, New Zealand, the U.S. and the U.K. There's still a lot of countries waiting for the game—just check out the response of fans in the official announcement.

I'm one of those who are still waiting for it. The entire Asia is still waiting for the game, and I'm sure that's a pretty big following, especially in Japan alone. For those who are still waiting like me, Niantic Labs did say that it will just take a few days until the official game arrives.

There are a few other ways to play Pokemon Go via side-loading—or even a clone, which is now keeping Chinese players preoccupied until the official game arrives.
