Pokemon Go Developer Teased One More Future Feature

The lack of a more global and virtual approach to Pokemon Go's upcoming trading may have received some mixed reactions among fans. But developer Niantic Labs still has a lot of ideas that it has in store for the game.

During the presentation for the Game Developer Conference, the developer touched on one feature coming to Pokemon Go. Currently, only the day and night mechanics can be seen in the game. There aren't really any other effects for the day/night cycle, except that players can see a change in the map design and the background for when you catch Pokemon.

This change between the two times of the day is abrupt, wherein it can easily change once the right time of the day hits. But apparently, the time change was actually planned to be more gradual.

Serebii features a few screenshots of the presentation, which showed the map ofPokemon Go showing a near-dusk sky changing. The sunset is actually pretty nice, if the game can mimic the same transition.

One other feature seen in the presentation is the introduction of weather elements in real-time. This would be an interesting concept, particularly for areas and locations that do have the four seasons, as hat adds more structure and variation to the game's background. Still, to have more feature for a room is much better.

It seems that Filipinos will have to get their own readers on, so there may be another one for us.
