Fans have known for a while that Poison Ivy will be a playable character for NetherRealm's Injustice 2, but so far, we've only seen snippets of her fighting style in previous trailers. A new trailer has just dropped for the Poison Ivy, and she actually has some pretty dirty moves up her sleeve.
Besides her usual melee moves, Ivy's powers also allow her to set-up traps during a match. She can even summon plant creatures that spit out some kind of acid. That thing better deal reasonable damage or disappear after three spits, because I can imagine players would just be pissed if they had to keep taking those out.
Ivy also has her classic "Poison Kiss" ability which stuns opponents for a while, and she can even make some sort of "plant-mace" that she can swing at enemies.
Injustice 2 boasts one of the largest rosters in a NetherRealm fighting game, and other obscure characters like Doctor Fate and Firestar have made their way to the spotlight. Hopefully the game will introduce other comic characters from DC's Vertigo titles like Watchmen or Sandman. How cool would it be to get a playable Morpheus or an ultraviolent Rorschach?
