PewDiePie Says His Criticisms Against Marvel Movies are His Biggest Controversy

PewDiePie has been in the middle of several controversies over his time as one of YouTube's most popular personalities. However, while some would name that time where the YouTuber made a racial slur while live streaming or that time that he offended an entire country as some of his worst controversies, PewDiePie would name his opinions on Marvel movies his biggest mistake to date.

PewDiePie recently posted a video naming his most controversial topic, and as it turns out, the YouTube personality's most downvoted video is one where he gives his comments about the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"What's my most controversial video? B***h Lasagna? Bridge? Nope. It's why I don't like Marvel movies. This is the worst dislike ratio I have on any video," the YouTuber said, "My main criticism of the Marvel movies was that no one dies..... I was proven wrong."

It's interesting how PewDiePie's Marvel Movie Criticism video is one of his most downvoted videos on YouTube. There's been a lot of controversy surrounding the Marvel Cinematic Universe as of late – the franchise has had to endure a bit of a beating from critically-acclaimed filmmakers like Martin Scorsese and Francis Ford Coppola who call the comic book movie genre "despicable," and describe them as "amusement parks."

Despite his original opinions about Marvel movies, PewDiePie says that he seems to have changed his mind about the MCU, saying that he enjoyed Avengers: Endgame because of Thanos (Josh Brolin). At one point in his video, the YouTuber explains why Thanos was right. PewDiePie then proceeds to continue discussing ethics and philosophy. You can check it out above if you want to.

Avengers: Endgame is currently available on Digital HD, Blu-Ray, and DVD.
