Peter Parker Is An All-Out Millenial In Honest Trailer For Spider-Man: Homecoming

One of the biggest superhero movies this year was Sony/Marvel’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, and with the home release just recently available, Screen Junkies has come out with their Honest Trailer for the movie.

Check it out:

Witness a brand-new take on Spider-Man; he’s a millennial now, who can’t stay off his phone, constantly vlogs, watches himself on Youtube, and has zero patience for anything. He’s got all the usual Spider-skills, plus a powerful new one—never facing consequences for his actions.

It’s funny how the trailer pointed out that the Vulture was way scarier when Michael Keaton was just being himself. In all honesty, I thought the character was written really well, and he’s the first Spider-Man villain that we get to see Peter Parker actually save at the end of the movie.

Tony Stark has also become a sort of absentee father for Peter as well. He brings Peter along for the ride on Civil War, and just constantly ignores him for days on end, ignoring all of Peter’s cries for help until he actually gets in big trouble. Not to mention Happy Hogan was kind of being a douche to Peter the whole time.

Though Tom Holland is appearing as Spider-Man in Avengers: Infinity War, I’m honestly more excited to see him in another solo Spider-Man film.

The sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming comes out July 5, 2019.
