Patty Jenkins Talks About Wonder Woman Coming Into Full Form In The Sequel

Wonder Woman was a huge success for the DCEU, and director Patty Jenkins is already starting work on the sequel. We got to watch Diana come into the world in the first movie, and Jenkins says Wonder Woman will be coming into full form by the time the sequel comes out.

Talking to Entertainment Tonight, Jenkins says:

"The greatest thing about making this [the first Wonder Woman] movie was the fact that you're really building to the Wonder Woman that we all love, but not until the end of the movie. The most exciting thing about [the sequel] is literally seeing her loose in the world now, living those classic stories. Here's Wonder Woman, and what can she do? It should be a totally different movie, but a grand and now full-blown Wonder Woman in the world."

For now, the only thing we know about the movie is that it will be set during the Cold War era. We still don't know how Diana exactly plays a part in this film, but since she's basically kept herself hidden by the time Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice starts, I'm guessing something will happen in the movie that will make her choose to stop being Wonder Woman. Ironic since this is supposedly the movie where she comes to full form.

No release date has been announced for Wonder Woman 2, but it is said to come after Batgirl, which WB has promised will be the next solo superheroine movie in their lineup.

We can still catch Diana in action when Justice League comes out Nov. 17.
