Patty Jenkins Reveals What She Wants To Change About Wonder Woman

Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman was undoubtedly a huge success, and a lot of people consider the film to be the savior of the DCEU. Though a lot of people agree that the film was great, Jenkins, like every other director, thinks that her movie could have done with a bit more tweaking.

During a roundtable interview (via ScreenRant), Jenkins says:

"No. I mean, yes, there's a million little things. If I had my druthers, the movie would be longer with little tiny jokes and moments that were hard to lose. Particularly because the great thing about these actors is you have such talented funny capable people, so that was already great material for them to work from and then they all just like every mess around would be delightful. So it's really hard to cut a movie like that down, and so just that sort of stuff — details."

With movies like Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad getting extended cuts, I'm thinking Warner Bros would be open to having a director's cut for Wonder Woman. After all, it's still more money in their pockets. What's to lose by having a director's cut release?

For now Jenkins is attached to work on the Wonder Woman sequel, and it's said to be another period piece set in the 80s during the Cold War era. Gadot is expected to return as Diana Prince, but for some reason, rumors have also suggested that Chris Pine will return is some way. Let's just hope it makes sense when it happens.

Wonder Woman comes out on digital Aug. 29, and DVD/Blu-ray on Sept. 19. Wonder Woman also appears in Justice League this coming Nov. 17.
