Parks and Rec's Jean-Ralphio Wants To Cameo In Stranger Things AND The MCU

Ever since Stranger Things came out in Netflix last year, a lot of people on the internet have been pointing out the uncanny resemblance between Steve (Joe Keery) and Parks and Recreation's Jean-Ralphio (Ben Schwartz). Both Keery and Schwartz have already done a bunch of vids making fun of how they look alike, and Schwartz is apparently eager to get himself a cameo on the Stranger Things.

In an interview with Larry King Now, Schwartz hilariously tries to get King to use his influence to have him appear in Stranger Things. He also pushes his luck when he pitches King to have him added in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a Jewish superhero.

Now, I know it's all in good fun, but Schwartz seems like such a great guy that I would be happy enough to have him appear in both franchises. For one, he's already part of a big franchise — Star Wars — he's the voice consultant for BB-8 along with Bill Hader, and two, he was just a recurring character in Parks and Rec but he owned every scene that he was in. Hell yeah I'd love to see more of him.

As for who he could play in Stranger Things, Schwartz could very well be Steve's older brother or funny cousin. There's even a theory going around that Steve is actually the real father of Jean-Ralphio in the show since both Stranger Things and Parks occur in Indiana, and their timelines are only decades apart from each other — making Steve the perfect age to father the ridiculous man-child that is Jean-Ralphio.

No guarantee that Schwartz will be in it, but Steve will return for the second season of Stranger Things which will air this Halloween.
