If you have been following the One Piece Twitter account, you're probably waiting for the next tease on some major announcements next week. Amazingly, the sixth and final clue has just been dropped and it hypes up a possible new game that will be announced on Monday!
The official One Piece Twitter account shared the latest clue which features two images. One of the photos shows a straw hat left on the beach while the second one is slightly obscured behind the first picture. Interestingly, it appears to be an image of the Straw Hats Pirates' ship Thousand Sunny sinking. Check it out below.
So what could this clue possibly be about? It doesn't appear to be connected to the anime or manga and looks more like images from a video game.
For now, there hasn't been any update on a new One Piece video game. However, the big news could finally be dropped next week.
Here's a recap of all the clues dropped about the major announcement next week. On the first day, it was confirmed that big news will be announced on March 28. The second day hinted at the live-action Netflix series while the third clue featured new merchandise. The fourth clue was connected to One Piece Film: RED and the fifth hyped up the manga. Finally, the last clue teased a new video game.
But will we also get an update on the anime? For now, One Piece is still on an extended hiatus due to the Toei Animation hack. However, fans are hoping that there will be some hopeful news dropped on the day of the big announcement.
The huge One Piece news will be dropped on Monday, March 28, 2022. This is also the same day that One Piece Chapter 1044 will be published on Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #17.
