Luffy, Kid, and Law launch successful attacks, but this isn't enough to bring Kaido and Big Mom down. Big Mom launches a counterattack of her own, striking everyone with lightning.

The attack doesn't do anything to Luffy since he's made of rubber. Currently in Gear Four, he uses Gomu Gomu no Kong Gatling to punch Kaido multiple times.

Everyone's attacks have affected Kaido to a certain extent, but clearly, it's not enough. Eventually, in the middle of the fight, Luffy is unable to keep Gear Four and returns back to his normal form.

Since he can't use his Haki for around 10 minutes, Zoro covers for Luffy. Kaido creates a tornado that sends everyone flying. Zoro prepares to attack, and Kaido senses something about his sword.
