NYCC 2016 Toy Alert: Hot Toys Brings Star Wars & Marvel Figures

Hot Toys has unveiled a bevy of its current lineup of toys, specifically of the Star Wars and Marvel franchise, at the New York Comic Con 2016.

Seen over the Hot Toys Facebook, the toymaker has confirmed that it has set up at the event. And at this event, it will showcase the different 1/6th scale collectible figures recently announced.

In preparation for the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story coming on Dec. 14, there's the Hot Toys first wave of movie-accurate collectible figures. These include Darth Vader, Death Trooper (Specialist), Stormtrooper, and Stormtrooper Jedha Patrol (TK-14057). The last one has a new backpack design, first to debut to the public at the event.

For those who want the good guys, figures for Star Wars: The Force Awakens are also out. This lineup includes Rey decked in her Resistance outfit, First Order Stormtrooper Finn, and Luke Skywalker with his mechanical hand. That's not all there is to the lineup, of course, as Hot Toys did hint that it will bring more characters in line with the Star Wars movies.

Beyond Star Wars, there are also some figures for the Marvel fans.

"Marvel fans will be delighted to have the opportunity to get an up-close look at the Iron Man Mark VII (Sub-Zero Version) from Avengers and Mark XXVII Disco from Iron Man 3. Manhattan natives would be especially excited to see Marvel's Daredevil from Netflix show realized in 1/6th scale figure form."

The Hot Toys booth is at #1946 at the event. It will be on display for the duration of the event until Oct. 9 at the Javits Center, 655 West 34th Street in Midtown Manhattan, New York.
