No Man’s Sky Patches Have Landed, Doesn’t Keep Game From Slipping UK Charts

Following some intense backlash online on the state of No Man's Sky, developer Hello Games has released three new patches, which are expected to deliver 70% of the remedy requests from fans.

Over at Steam, the developer detailed the updates. Patch 1 was supposed to deliver better support for different hardware configurations, so it can expand the base of players who can actually play No Man's Sky. Patch 2 was rolled out to address the bulk of reported bugs and crashes, as well as deliver stability and save safety.

Finally, Patch 3 was also for support requests, as well as support for fan who had experienced corrupted save files. While the bulk of the issues have been supposedly remedied, it appears that Hello Games has one more expected to roll out next week:

"Next week expect a least one more major update, which will enter testing on Monday once we finish working on it this weekend. Once all support requests have been answered then we can begin improving the game with new features."

However, even with the new patches, it seems that No Man's Sky is slowly losing its grip over a couple of players. In the latest lineup of the top games on the UK charts (as per Ukie), No Man's Sky has already slipped from the top spot as the second biggest released title for the PS4.

Claiming its previous place was F1 2016. This is impressive, considering how F1 2016 was just released last Aug. 19. Check out the full Top 20 games currently on the UK charts:
