Nintendo To Release NES Mini With Preloaded Games

Nintendo continues to make waves in the gaming industy. In the heels of Pokemon Go's massive success, the company made a surprising announcement: NES Mini.

Engadget reports that the console will be available this Novemeber, and will cost $59.99 The package includes everything you need to hook up the console (with the inclusion of an HDMI cable), one controller, and 30 pre-loaded games.

Balloon Fight, Bubble Bobble, Castlevania, Castlevania II: Simon's Quest, Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., Double Dragon II: The Revenge, Dr. Mario, Excitebike, Final Fantasy, Galaga, Ghosts' N Ghoblins, Gradius, Ice Climber, Kid Icarus, Kirby's Adventure, Mario Bros., Mega Man 2, Metroid, Ninja Gaiden, Pac-Man, Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream, StarTropics, SUPER C, Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Bros. 3, Tecmo Bowl, The Legend of Zelda and Zelda II: The Adventure of Link.

That's pretty much most of the system's greatest hits. Sadly, Contra is not included, but this is still a fantastic deal. The downside is that you can't attach cartridges on the console, but it's already loaded with 30 games, most of which are considered classics. Hopefully, the company will also launch N64-mini. That would be awesome.
