The Nintendo Switch has seen quite a lot of positive responses from the gaming community and developers as well. There are already a number of developers that have voiced their interest and support for the device.

But now, Ubisoft's Yves Guillemot has confirmed that the studio may have one more trick up its sleeve that will surprise everyone. And it's all thanks to the unique capacities and design that the Nintendo Switch has in its introductory trailer.

"The Ubisoft teams developing games for the Switch are inspired by these new possibilities, and I'm really happy that we're able to continue doing great things with Nintendo. In addition to Just Dance 2017, I think there's at least one game that will definitely surprise you!"

Guillemot shared this over his Facebook, just a little after the reveal of the Nintendo Switch. He did not add anything else, but it's possible that the studio is saving this announcement, among others, once the January event is over and more details about the console has been confirmed.

There's talk that an unofficial source close to the project has hinted that the Nintendo Switch may debut as early as March 17 in the PAL region. This means launch in the Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. While this has never been confirmed, the release date may vary in different regions.

For now, it's best to wait for the January event, where more details of the Nintendo Switch will be released.
