Newly Classified Star Wars: The Last Jedi Trailer Expected To Drop At D23 Or SDCC

Fans have been dying to see a full trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi and while many expected Lucasfilm to release new footage around October or November like it did with Star Wars: The Force Awakens, it seems like a new trailer for the highly anticipated sequel trilogy installment has been classified with hopes that the footage would run at either Disney's D23 or the massive San Diego Comic Con.

Officially classified on the BBFC website as PG, a listing for a new "Trailer B" preview of Star Wars: Episode VIII has made its way online today, signaling a new trailer for fans to feast off. With the listing popping up today, many are speculating that the trailer could come right around the corner, either at the D23 convention this July or this year's SDCC at a Hall H panel.

While many are excited over the prospect of new The Last Jedi footage from Lucasfilm, it seems like this new preview is only going to run for 91 seconds – a trailer that's a bit shorter compared to the teaser the studio released at this year's Star Wars Celebration. This means that the new preview isn't exactly the full trailer that everyone's been hoping for, but instead another teaser for The Force Awakens sequel.

Still, new footage is very much welcome, and fans would be glad to get a glimpse at a new teaser.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits cinemas on December 15, 2017.
