It appears a new villain is joining the 2016 film. As per Making Star Wars, a possible new character the site describes as "a leader with stature of some kind" to the Empire is joining the mix. The personality is actually quite intriguing and fits the profile of a bad guy.

The site adds that this "new" character appears to be revered. The bad guy reportedly wears a massive white cape with an opening at the back. The said cape is seen trailing behind the "older male" character as he treads through shallow waters.

MSW has also learned that the possible villain has an awesome name as well as a rocking sidearm. There's another shot the site claims they saw showing the character walking through throngs of Imperials and Stormtroopers, which is similar to a scene in Return of the Jediwhere the Emperor meets with Darth Vader.

There's a possibility that the character is the role portrayed by Ben Mendelshon's, but this hasn't been verified yet.

This new speculation doesn't provide much info on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, but it is a start.

Do you think this new, white-caped character is a new villain?
