Sony has released a new trailer for their upcoming The Angry Birds movie, and it shows us why the birds are angry.
The latest trailer shown below gives us a closer look at the film's main plot which centers around the villainous pigs befriending the birds, only to steal their eggs. Red Red (Jason Sudeikis), Chuck (Josh Gad), and Bomb (Danny McBride) will have to lead their flock to get their eggs back. Watch the trailer below:
The Angry Birds Movie looks just as fun as the mobile game. Near the end, you'll see the slingshot mechanic from the game used in a fun way. It looks like this movie packs a lot of humor. I could tell that the characters are almost as silly as the characters in Spongebob Squarepants. I also like bright animation style and explosive fun that will surely keep kids and some adults entertained.
The film will be released in theaters on May 13, 2016.
