Sucker Punch has best been known for their work on the Infamous franchise, but now they're set to release their next PS4 exclusive, Ghost of Tsushima. Just in, we have a new trailer announcing the release of the game, and it teases one epic samurai story.
Here's the description of the game as per GameSpot:
Ghost of Tsushima follows the story of Jin Sakai, known as The Ghost to the invading Mongol armies led by the ruthless Khotun Khan. Trained by his uncle Shimura, the jito (lord) of Tsushima, Jin is an incredibly skilled samurai who adopts more cunning death-dealing techniques, to the concern of his mentor.
Sucker Punch has actually announced three versions of the game that will be available for pre-order. There's the $70 Digital Deluxe Edition which comes with a lot of in-game goods. The $70 physical special edition includes a SteelBook case plus some digital extras like a mini artbook and developer commentary.
The third is a $170 Collector's Edition, and it will feature all the items you see here:
The game looks absolutely gorgeous, but I can't help but feel that it's kind of similar to Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice from FromSoftware. Then again, From is best known for its unforgiving nature when it comes to gameplay. Hopefully Tsushima will be a more forgiving samurai epic for gamers.
Ghost of Tsushima will be available for the PS4 come June 26.
