New Thor: Ragnarok TV Spot Gives Our First Look At Odin

Thor: Ragnarok might be zeroing in on its premiere date, but it seems like Marvel's still pretty busy working on the film's marketing campaign. Not only is the studio continually making the press rounds, Marvel's also been rolling out new TV spots, one of which gives fans the very first look at Thor's (Chris Hemsworth) farther, Odin (Anthony Hopkins) in the third Thor installment.

Loki (Tom Hiddleston) took Odin's place on the throne of Asgard during the final moments of Thor: The Dark World, and though the mid-credits scene for Doctor Strange had Thor on the lookout for his father, the All-Father's been absent from all of Thor: Ragnarok's trailers and promos.

Now a new TV spot for Marvel's final film of the year gives Odin's whereabouts –it seems likeThor's daddy has been busy hanging out in Midgard (Earth).

Check out the TV spot down here:

Odin might have his back to the screen, but it's pretty obvious who Thor's kneeling to in the middle of an empty field in Ragnarok's promo. Based on Thor's haircut, it seems like the Asgardian God of Thunder's going to reunite with the All-Father after he loses his hammer to Hela, the Goddess of Death (Cate Blanchette). Wonder what's going to happen after their little talk. Let's wait and find out.

Thor: Ragnarok hits cinemas November 3, 2017.
