Disney has dropped a new preview clip of the highly anticipated season 2 finale of Star Wars Rebels.
Titled Take Cover - Twilight of the Apprentice, the preview gives audiences a peek into what Ezra (voiced by Taylor Gray), his mentore Kanan (Freddie Prinze Jr.), and Ahsoka Tano (Ashley Eckstein) will be up to in the season finale. The trio are shown entering an old and abandoned Sith temple on Malachor while searching for an Inquisitor and seeking more information on Darth Vader, Ahsoka’s former Jedi master.
Ezra gets educated on a little bit of Star Wars history and he ends up picking up a battered tri-saber similar to that of Kylo Ren’s in The Force Awakens. Ahsoka gets an ominous feeling about the seemingly abandoned temple and it will turn out that her hunches are true. The trio will be surprised by an Inquisitor who comes out of nowhere.

While The Mystery of Chopper Base had been "all Jedi,” as described by tory Group's Pablo Hidalgo, it seems that Twilight of the Apprentice will be all Sith.
Everybody knows Darth Vader (voiced by the legendary James Earl Jones) will show up in the finale forhis “long-awaited meeting” and battle with Ahsoka. Then, there’s the aging Darth Maul (to be reprised by Sam Witwer) shown in another preview last week. It seems that events in today’s preview will come before the events of last week’s preview, where Ezra was guided by Darth Maul in the same templeafter he falls in a hole while he and Kanan and Ahsoka are battling the Inquisitor.
The two-part Star Wars Rebels: Twilight of the Apprentice finale will air on March 30 at 9pm on Disney XD.
