Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be out in theaters next month, and we can't wait to see the group of Rebels embark on their mission to steal the plans for the Death Star. We also can't wait to see Darth Vader's appearance, but I'm more excited to see the new heroes battle the Empire.  Lucasfilm has released a new TV spot called "Project", and it features new footage of Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) hoping for a "backup plan" after a rocket shot by Baze Malbus (Wen Jiang) seemed to have failed to take it down. The blind sage Chirruit Imwe (Donnie Yen) also has a hilarious moment in this TV spot that has a more lighthearted tone than the previous TV spots and trailers we've seen of the film. Watch the TV spot below:

From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” an all-new epic adventure. In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be released in theaters on December 16, 2016.
