Lucasfilm has released a couple of new images for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and they feature Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn), Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones), K-2SO (Alan Tudyk), and a squad of Death Troopers.
The images came from USA Today, and during an interview with director Gareth Edwards, he discussed about the villain Krennic, saying that he "hits a brick wall in the hierarchy where they won't let him in the club and it's going to turn into a them-or-us situation: either Krennic or Tarkin and the others."
Darth Vader and Krennic will have scenes together in the film, and Gareth talked about how Mendelsohn had a freak-out experience when filming with one of the most iconic characters of all time:
"He went, ‘It's Darth Vader. We filmed with Darth Vader,' and I was like,‘I know. It's amazing, isn't it?' It was like no one wanted to admit that they're having a little fanboy freak-out but everyone did. It's impossible not to. He's so iconic."
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will hit theaters on December 16, 2016.
