New Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Featurette Focuses on Alan Tudyk's K-2SO

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will finally hit theaters this week, and I'm super excited to watch it. I already pre-purchased four IMAX tickets for Friday night's screening, but before we can all enjoy the film, you gotta check out the exciting promotional content that Lucasfilm and Disney have put out. The behind-the-scenes featurettes give us an interesting look at the actors' experiences, and the latest one is all about Alan Tudyk's smart-ass droid, K-2SO, which he describes as "the opposite of C-3PO." We learned that the droid was reprogrammed to help Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) and her band of Rebel heroes in their quest to steal the plans for the Death Star.

Watch the featurette below:

From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” an all-new epic adventure. In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will hit theaters on December 16, 2016.
