A new Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was unveiled at this weekend's Nuremberg Toy Fair.
Check it out below. It's the one on the far left.
Here's a closer look.
The new costume seems to be what actor Jiang Wen wore in the cast photo last August. At the time, the costume hadn't been too clear, but a closer look from the photos above show that the actor is packing some serious punch in Rogue One.
Meanwhile, the other costumes on the right, which were revealed earlier this week, belong to Diego Luna, Felicity Jones, and Donnie Yen.
Here's another close-up photo.
Actually, seeing the first three costumes already hints at an ice planet setting, but Wen's costume pretty much says that the entire film's setting is freezing as hell. Also, Diego Luna's character's outfit (seen below) looks akin to what Han Solo wore in the Hoth base in The Empire Strikes Back.
Right now, what we know about the standalone Star Wars film, which is set between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, is that it follows a group of Rebels on a mission to steal the plans of the first Death Star. We also know that the main female protagonist in Rogue One is Lyra Elso, played by Felicity Jones.
I'm curious to see how the film, being a standalone one, fares in the box office. Nonetheless, it looks like an action-filled flick looking at the costumes and weapons alone.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits theaters on December 16.
