New Red Band Trailer For Kingsman: The Golden Circle Kicks More Ass Than The First

Matthew Vaughn's first Kingsman movie was a fun ode to secret spy films like James Bond, and the movie was a smash hit when it came out back in 2014. A new red band trailer just dropped for the sequel, and we get to see more of the American Statesman fighting along with the Kingsman.

Here's the synopsis:

With their headquarters destroyed and the world held hostage, members of Kingsman find new allies when they discover a spy organization in the United States known as Statesman. In an adventure that tests their strength and wits, the elite secret agents from both sides of the pond band together to battle a ruthless enemy and save the day, something that's becoming a bit of a habit for Eggsy.

The trailer also gives us more on Colin Firth's Harry Hart, and unlike some speculations suggested, he looks like he's still of sound mind, and he'll still be on the side of the Kingsman. I'm still not fully sold on the Statesman though, and I'm pretty sure one of them is going to betray the organization—just like Michael Caine's character did in the first movie.

All in all, the movie looks like a fun romp, and we should expect some more over-the-top violence and great action from director Matthew Vaughn.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle comes out Sept. 22.
