After the disappointment that was the gritty Noah movie, Darren Aronofsky looks like he's returning to what he does best with mother!. We just got a full trailer for the movie, and it looks as disturbing as you can expect it to be.

So far we still haven't gotten a full synopsis for the movie, and the official description still reads:

Centers on a couple whose relationship is tested when uninvited guests arrive at their home, disrupting their tranquil existence.

The trailer looks absolutely creepy, but it looks like the story is going to focus more on Jennifer Lawrence's character as compared to Javier Bardem who will have a sudden mystery about him after the arrival of creepy house guests in the form of Ed Harris and Michelle Pfeiffer.

Though you don't really see them in the trailer, mother! also has appearances from Kristen Wiig, Domnhall Gleesen, and his brother Brian Gleeson.

If you have no idea what Aronofsky is known for, I suggest you check out Requiem for a Dream and Black Swan. Aronofsky has such a mastery with psychological movies that the end of his films will leave you either depressed or paranoid—not feelings you want to have, but you have to appreciate Aronofsky's ability to harness them.

Check out mother! when it hits theaters Sept. 15.
