New Han Solo Set Photo Shows Chewie Checking Out Emotional Scene

There was a lot of commotion in the Star Wars community after Lucasfilm announced that it had fired Han Solo directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller over creative differences, however now that the studio has Ron Howard on the director's seat, it seems like the Han Solo production's back on track.

Though the Star Wars spinoff barely got any attention during the Star Wars panel at Disney's D23 this weekend, it seems like production's on a roll with everyone hard at work to get the film right. Posting on Twitter, the spinoff's new director decided to share another picture from the film's set, featuring Chewie and a couple of crew members as they check out a clip on the monitor.

Check out the post down here:

While Howard directs people's attention to Joonas Suotamo's version of everyone's favorite wookie with his caption, "Chewie checking the shot," we can't help but notice the two silhouettes featured in the monitor in the corner of the photo. It's hard to tell who's who – is it Chewie standing next to Han or are those two different people? While we can't really tell, the shot seems terribly emotional and it's likely that the scene might be featured at a high point in the movie.

Han Solo hits cinemas on May 25, 2018.
