New Game of Thrones Season 6 Featurette Teases 'The Best Seat in the House'

HBO has released very little details on the sixth season of Game of Thrones. Season 5 possibly contains the strongest cliffhanger endings in the series. For this reason, fans’ clamor for any details on their beloved characters are just as intense.

In characteristic fashion, HBO recently released yet another cryptic promo – a featurette showcasing some behind-the-scenes footage as explained from the eyes of the camera crew. Camera operators David Morgan, Ben Wilson, Sean Savage, and David Worley share how they were able to capture the epic visuals portrayed in the hit series and the challenges that they faced along the way.

The show’s full season trailer is yet to be released, but while fans patiently wait, here’s the latest promotional video from HBO:

The Best Seat in the House featurette certainly doesn’t reveal much about the highly anticipated season. However, some shots clearly show Jaqen H’ghar (Thomas Wlaschiha) about to take a corpse’s face off (most likely a scene on The Hall of Faces). Then there’s a disheveled Daenerys walking back towards the Dothraki. Other characters featured are Melisandre (Carice van Houten), Meera Reed (Ellie Kendrick), Dario Naharis (Michael Huisman), Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen), Davos Seaworth (Liam Cunningham), and Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau). Jon Snow, whose fate has become the fodder of theories and intrigue, is still absent from the new featurette.

Hopefully, HBO releases a Jon Snow-filled trailer soon because I don’t know how long I can wait anymore.

Game of Thrones returns to HBO on Sunday, April 24.
