New Details On Laura Dern’s The Last Jedi Character And Poe Dameron Leaked

Star Wars Celebration Orlando is opening in just three days time, however it seems like rumors about The Last Jedi continue to circulate online and this time the speculation revolves around Oscar Isaac's Poe Dameron and Laura Dern's unnamed character.

Making Star Wars has just recently reported on Dern's character whose The Last Jedi attire had been speculated late last year. According to the site, the Academy Award nominee is going to play a character named Admiral Holdo in the upcoming Star Wars sequel trilogy installment. The character's look is being described as an "antithesis of Lei's new general look," because of her regal-looking gown, the "metallic braces" wrapped around her wrists, her cape, and her pink hair. Though Holdo is part of the Resistance, she is supposedly playing a political opponent of Leia and a "nemesis" of Poe.

Poe is reportedly to return as a fleet leader who guides portions of the Resistance's pilots across the galaxy. Modifications have been made to his black x-wing to help it fly faster and do more damage in battle. However, Poe won't be joined by BB-8 since the cute droid is reportedly slated to join John Boyega's Finn and Kelly Marie Tran's character on their special assignment.

While there isn't any confirmation of the two characters and their updates as of yet, there's a lot of hope that the two will have considerable screentime in the highly anticipated trailer of Star Wars: The Last Jedi which is expected to debut at the Star Wars Celebration Orlando this week. Let's wait and see what happens.

The Last Jedi is scheduled to premiere on December 15, 2017.
