The next major expansion coming to Star Wars Battlefront is the Death Star DLC, which will allow players to fight inside the iconic battlestation, as well as outside in space. We recently got a first look at the DLC in the latest episode of The Star Wars Show, and now with its release coming soon, EA just shared a lot of details on their official website.
EA just revealed details on Chewbacca and Bossk, the two new playable characters that will be included in the DLC. The publisher confirmed that Chewbacca will wield his iconic Bowcaster and has a special Furious firing trait (that will allow him to fire an extra bolt with every trait level). He also has other unique abilities such as Multi-Bolts (doubles his rate of fire), Mighty Roar (gives improvements to himself and those around him) and Ground Slam (inflicts damage to nearby enemy units when Chewie smashes the ground).
Bossk, the bounty hunter wields his Relby-v10 blaster that features a Trandoshan Regeneration traith (allows him to regenerate health with each kill). His other abilities include Micro-Grenades (turns his blaster into a grenade launcher), Predatory,Toxic Escape (Bossk will jump and drop a Dioxis Grenade), and Instincts (gives him heat vision and increased damage and speed).
On their official site, EA also launched a new landing page for the Death Star DLC. As users scroll down, you'll see fresh footage and imagery from various area of the map(s). It also reveals different aspects of hte expansion, two new playable Starfighters (Luke Skywalker's X-Wing and Darth Vader's TIE Advanced), and a new 3-stage Battle Station mode. It also gives us our first looks at the K-16 Bryar Blaster Pistoal and the TL-50 Heavy Repeater Blaster. You'll also see some new Star Cards. Check out the images below:
