New Civil War Posters Confirm Who’s on Team Iron Man

Yesterday, Marvel released its first batch of Captain America: Civil War character posters showcasing who exactly is on Team Cap. Now, Team Iron Man is also getting its own line of individual character posters.

Featuring Iron Man / Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), Black Panther / T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman), Black Widow / Natasha Romanova (Scarlett Johansson), the Vision (Paul Bettany), and War Machine / James Rhodes (Don Cheadle), the new posters show these characters standing attention and ready for battle.

It's worth noting that members on Team Cap are facing right while members on Team Iron Man are facing left. This allows fans to play with the characters and have their favorite face-offs going head-to-head.

As expected, Spider-Man is still absent from these new promotional images. I know the web slinger is only supposed to have a cameo in this film, but this mysterious absence has gotten me quite intrigued and even concerned. Maybe this crazy theory of Peter Parker appearing during the post-credits of the film really is possible. There's also this report two weeks ago which claims the hero's appearance after the Avengers have already chosen their teams.

With any luck, we could still see Spidey in a new trailer before the movie's release. Hopefully, he'll also get to fight in the film.

I'm still undecided who to side on, but I have a feeling Iron Man could win this battle knowing his access to high-tech gadgets and his knack for preparedness.

Whose side are you on?

Captain America: Civil War will hit theaters on May 6. The film is the 13th film installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the first film its third phase of movies. It's directed by Joe and Anthony Russo (Captain America: Winter Soldier).
