New Batman v Superman Footage Revealed In Featurette & Clip

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will hit theaters in a few days and the film’s marketing team isn’t showing signs of slowing down. The latest promo materials comes in a featurette and clip showcasing new footage from the DC movie.

The featurette was released by Doritos via their official YouTube channel. It mostly highlights interviews with the cast including Ben Affleck (Batman/Bruce Wayne), Henry Cavill (Superman/Clark Kent), and Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor). While the video features footage from the DC film, it doesn’t exactly reveal any new information about the storyline and its characters.

Bruce Wayne wants Superman to be held accountable for the destruction brought upon Metropolis. Clark Kent wants to stop Batman, who he sees as a cold-blooded vigilante who does “whatever it takes” to stop crime, according to Cavill. Meanwhile, the 32-year-old actor describes the Man of Steel as a superhero who does “everything by the book.”

The featurette also reiterates how the “greatest gladiator match in the history of the world” is seemingly brought on by Luthor, with Snyder calling the supervillain a “puppet master.”

While the video mostly show scenes from the trailers, there’s a part that reveals a portion of the “gladiator match” where Superman blocks Batman’s kick, who is then thrown through a building. There’s also new dialogue from Wayne revealing more of his state of mind.

The other new footage was released during Jesse Eisenberg’s interview on Good Morning America. The new footage of Lex shows the villain ordering a brainwashed Superman to fight Batman:

This other new footage, though short, looks interesting and perhaps promising for Eisenberg’s take on the villain. It’s been rumored that Lex would eventually rise to power and prove a greater threat to the world.

Hopefully, the film hadn’t revealed too much in its promos that would leave no room for surprises.

Audiences won’t have to wait too long to find out #WhoWillWin. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will arrive in theaters on March 25.

The big question now is, will the quality of Batman v Superman prove worthy of all of the hype?
