New 'Avengers: Infinity War' Trailer Finally Arrives!

Marvel Studios has finally released the first trailer for Avengers: Infinity War, and as promised, Thanos (Josh Brolin) is at the center of everything. We get to see the Mad Titan arrive on Earth using some kind of portal. The trailer also gives us our first look at MCU's Spider-sense of Peter Parker (Tom Holland)

"Evacuate the city and gate all defenses," Black Panther says. There's a shot of Spider-Man wearing his Iron Spider armor; Thanos ripping out an Infinity stone from Vision's head; Iron Buster on the move again; Scarlet Witch looking relieved to see Captain America; Falcon flying over a massive battle; and more shots of Thanos being a badass with his Infinity Gauntlet. Watch the trailer above.

Anthony Russo told CNET that Thanos will be central to the story of Infinity War, likening the film's narrative to a heist film:

"With Infinity War, the biggest new element to the movie is Thanos and the fact that he's entering the storytelling in a very bold, strong way, to the degree that he's almost one of the leads. We've shaped an interesting narrative around him that in some ways leans heavily on a heist film in the fact that he's going after the infinity stones in a much bolder, successful way than he has in the past. The entire movie has that energy of the bad guy being one step ahead of the heroes. We looked at a lot of movies that had that heist-style energy to them, [and] that brought some inspiration."

Synopsis:

Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and the rest of the Avengers face their most powerful enemy yet, the evil Thanos (Josh Brolin).

Avengers: Infinity War will be released in theaters May 4, 2018.
