The second season of Marvel's Jessica Jones just premiered last month but Netflix has already renewed the series for a third season, Deadline reports.

Considering how Season 2 was well-received by both fans and critics, the renewal of the series seemed like a given. The fan-favorite show's first season won a Peabody Award, a Creative Arts Emmy, and a Hugo Award.

They haven't released any plot details about the show but we know that Krysten Ritter will reprise her titular role. It's like that Season 3 will also see the return of Trish Walker (played by Rachael Taylor), Jen Hogarth (Carrie-Anne Moss), and Jessica's neighbor and assistant, Malcolm Ducasse (Eka Darville)

Netflix hasn't announced a release date for Jessica Jones Season 2 but Marvel fans will have a lot of shows to look forward to from the streaming service. The second season of Luke Cage is set to premiere on June 22 followed by Daredevil Season 3, and the second seasons of both The Punisher and Iron Fist.
