Naruto Stage Play Visuals Show Off Akatsuki Members

The teasers keep coming for the Naruto stage play dubbed Live Spectacle Naruto: Akatsuki no Shirabe.

Following the teaser of the main characters, plus the three villainous members of Team Taka, now we get a glimpse of three of the members of the Akatsuki crime ninja organization (via Crunchyroll).

Seen below, the three characters include Kisame Hoshigaki, Deidara, and Tobi. These are portrayed by Takeshi Hayashino, Ryo Tsuji, and Hironori Katayama respectively.

Kisame looks extra creepy since his facial features look a lot more sinister than in the anime. Diedara looks even more sinister, with the stitches on the arm, the grittier look, and that intense glare. Even Tobi looks ready to wreak some havoc.

According to the source, it's possible that the story of the stage play will give bigger roles to these three, considering how the title of the play mentions the crime organization.

The other confirmed cast for the stage play include the following:

Koudai Matsuoka: Naruto Uzumaki
Ryuji Sato: Sasuke Uchiha
Shinji Rachi: Itachi Uchiha
Keishi Hagio: Suigetsu Houzuki
Kanon Nanaki: Karin
Tomoya Yamaguchi: Jugo

Live Spectacle Naruto: Akatsuki no Shirabe will have three showings: from May 19 to June 4 at the AiiA 2.5 Theater Tokyo, June 16 to 22 in Mielparque Hall Osaka, and July 29 to August 6 in another Tokyo venue.
