Naruto: Song Of The Akatsuki Stage Play Cast Gathers In New Promotional Photo

Though the series hasn't been getting any live-action movies, the Naruto franchise is doing well with their live-action stage plays. The next play is titled, Live Spectacle Naruto: Akatsuki no Shirabe/Song of the Akatsuki, and a new promotional image featuring the whole cast has made its way online.

The play looks to add more characters from the Shippuden timeline, and members from the Akatsuki clan like Itachi, Deidara, Tobi, and Kisame will appear. Members of Sasuke's Hebi group like Suigetsu, Karin, and Jugo are also on the poster.

According to CrunchyRoll, the play will run from May 19–June 4 at the AiiA 2.5 Theater in Tokyo, June 16–22 at the Osaka Mielparque Hall, and July 29–Aug. 6 back at the Tokyo venue. Advance tickets will start going on sale March 19.

Naruto fans who don't speak Japanese shouldn't worry about the show's language either. Multi-lingual subtitle glasses are said to be provided for every performance in Tokyo, and they can be adjusted via a remote attached to the spectacles. Now isn't that neat?
