Captain Marvel was a ridiculously big success for Marvel Studios, but there has been a lot of curiosity about bringing Kamala Khan a.k.a. Ms. Marvel into the MCU. Rumor has it that there have been talks about Ms. Marvel, but it's likely that she'll be getting a Disney+ series rather than a film.
This comes from mystery insider Roger Wardell on Twitter who posts:
There have been multiple ideas on how to bring Kamala to the MCU, and probably my favorite one is to make her a student in Peter Parker's school. She's the right age for it, and it would be great to see the perspective of a young Muslim woman in the MCU. In the comics, Kamala is actually an Inhuman, but seeing as the MCU looks to be ignoring that piece of lore, it's likely they would change her origin story.
If Kamala were to be introduced, I have a feeling they would make her as a supporting character in a Captain Marvel film first then give her her own show. She does have a connection with that character, and what other reason would she have going around calling herself Ms. Marvel?
With Marvel Studios furthering representation with films like Black Panther and the upcoming Shag-Chi, it's only a matter of time before Kamala has her time in the spotlight.
No official confirmation has been made for Ms. Marvel, but you can catch Captain Marvel in Avengers: Endgame which is currently out in theaters.
