Mr. Robot From Telltale Games Confirmed for Mobile in Behind-the-Scenes Clip


Following a string of cryptic teasers on Twitter, Telltale Games has confirmed that it will be rolling out a Mr. Robot mobile game in collaboration with Night School Studios.

In the new behind-the-scenes video, seen below, the developers announced Mr. Robot: 1.51exfiltrati0n. The mobile game will be a tie-in for the series, as it will be messaging app from E-Corp, or Evil Corp,” if you’re still in protagonist Elliot’s head.

“In Mr. Robot eps1.51exfiltrati0n, you’ll use the E-Corp messaging app to communicate in real time with characters from the show, making dialog choices that directly affect how the story flows. Make a choice then live with the far-reaching consequences in this hi-tech narrative drama driven by YOU.”

The video starts off with the very mellow and commercial-info approach promoting the E-Corp messaging app. Then it quickly shows the nature of hacktivism of fsociety in interspersing shots.

The goal of the game is to let players feel that they exist in the narrative of the society of the game. According to the developers, the creator of Mr. Robot has been looking for a way to create an interactive project that branches off the series. Hence the game was born.

This is quite the timely tie-in, especially with the announcement of the season 3 comeback of the Mr. Robot series. Mr. Robot: 1.51exfiltrati0n can already be downloaded on iOS and Android app stores.
