NetherRealm Studios is gearing up for a great way to start October. Creative head Ed Boon has taken to Twitter to announce two events happening on the first week.
While the patch is coming a day later for Mortal Kombat XL, the developer will be airing a new Kombat Kast on Oct. 3. It appears that the balances coming to Mortal Kombat XL will also be touched on in the livestream.
Even before the announcement of the Kombat Kast, Boon has already hinted at some changes, some of which involve fighters Alien, Shinnok, Mileena, and Goro. The timing of the balances can't be any better considering that the last one was way back in March.
Of course, fans have their own wish lists as to what changes will be delivered for the game. Some fans are hoping to see a stronger Kitana. Specifically, some suggestions include better overhead and low hits that can become combos. Others have suggested that she have another brutality or staff grab move.
There's even a funny theory that spins the schedule of the Kombat Kast. Since it's happening on Oct. 3 at 3 p.m., then Kombat Pack 3 Konfirmed. While this would be a fun theory, it may just as well be in the same realm as any Half-Life 3 wishful thinking theories.
