The reveals keep coming for Mortal Kombat 11, and though we have confirmation on a lot of classic characters coming to the game, a new reveal trailer confirms some new faces that were introduced in Mortal Kombat X. Check out, Kotal Khan and Jacqui Briggs.
Just in case you need to catch up on the lore, Jacqui is the daughter of Jax Briggs and is close friends with Cassie Cage (another daughter of a legacy character). Though she is a proficient fighter on her own, Jacqui also makes use of weaponized gauntlets that enhance her abilities—much like her father Jax does.
As for Kotal Khan, he's another ruler of Outworld who is kind of the ‘less evil' Shao Khan. Rather than be a conqueror like Shao, Kotal chooses to handle the inward workings of his realm and aims to get Outworld to unite together in order to defeat its enemies collectively.
When it comes to the Mortal Kombat franchise, each game promises a different fighting style for each character, meaning that they won't play the same way that they do in the last game. We don't know exactly what's in store for both Kotal and Jacqui, but we know that there's going to be a lot of differences—with some classic moves mixed in here and there.
Mortal Kombat 11 becomes available for Xbox One, PC, PS4, and Nintendo Switch on April 23.
