Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Launches with Electrifying New Light Show

A year ago, NetherRealm had teamed up with Light Balance for a crazy neon show with characters from Mortal Kombat. With the Aftermath DLC launching for MK11, Light Balance has once again returned for an electrifying dance/fight number.

Check it out:

As you can see, the team has added two new characters into the mix including Liu Kang and Sheeva. Besides that, we get a lot more striking visuals with the team emulating classic loading screens as well as fatalities and special moves.

Here's the first video just in case you missed it:

With the first video gathering more than 3 million views on Youtube, I have no doubt that this second video is also going to build up hype. Personally, I think it's the more impressive light show, and I'm actually hoping NetherRealm comes up with more of these down the line.

In the meantime, you can check out Aftermath which brings in three new characters plus a whole new expansion to the campaign. This is probably the last we'll get for the story though, and I expect future expansions to be all about upcoming characters.

The epic saga continues with Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath! This new entry expands the critically acclaimed story campaign of Mortal Kombat 11 with an all-new cinematic narrative centered around trust and deceit. Joining the fight will be Mortal Kombat alumni, Fujin and Sheeva, and guest character, RoboCop, making his series debut!

Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath is now available for Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
